SKBs portable Shock Racks feature a 30 in. deep heavy-duty shell that protects an EIA standard 28.75 in. deep shock mounted aluminum frame with front and rear steel rails with 10/32 in. threaded holes and reversible face plate for square holes.

Meets Military Standards for Water Tightness |
Features Include:
- Standard rack depth front to rear rails is 29.25 in. Each lid is 4.5 in. deep.
- The aluminum shock mount frame is recessed inside the heavy duty shell approximately 1.25 in. on both ends.
- Redesigned rack frame with threaded steel rails and aluminum cross components forming an "H" shaped rigid configuration.
- Unique "plug" style lid sealing system. Lids penetrate the body of the rack cases with an approximate 1 in. molded-in protrusion that provides outstanding sealing and anti-shear properties.
- Patent-pending compound hinge system allows the lids to swing out 270° and rest along the sides of the case or easily be removed and reinstalled in seconds. (No more looking for somewhere to store the lids when the cases are in use).
- Front and rear rack doors are fitted with rubber gaskets for water, dust and sand resistant protection.
- Recessed heavy duty twist latches allow these cases to meet most ATA and military specifications.
- These portable rack cases stack securely with wheels on or off, and this revolutionary design also allows for both lids to open completely while cases are stacked.
- All sizes come standard with eight each HM-245 elastomeric, high-damping, wide temperature range shock mounts with a load range of 40 – 150 lbs.
- Additional or stiffer shock mounts may be ordered from the factory and are easily field-installed (call for details & availability).
- Standard high quality slide-in/out locking swivel 4 in. casters rated at 1,200 lbs are included in the case price.
- Automatic ambient pressure equalization valve (MIL-STD-648C).
- Black powder coated stainless steel key-lockable latches.
- Comfortable, spring-loaded, rubber over-molded handles on the cases.
